Dr Tich-Lam Nguyen is a PhD chemist and research professional with over two decades of experience in higher education. She specialises in materials science, research management, and collaborative leadership, and has served as Chief Operating Officer at two Australian Research Council Centres of Excellence. Her work advances scientific innovation, strengthens organisational growth, and builds partnerships aligned with national research priorities. Tich-Lam is passionate about connecting academic research with practical technology development, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and mentoring emerging researchers. She is dedicated to creating inclusive research environments, believing that diversity and respect for all backgrounds drive innovation, social change, and economic progress. Tich-Lam holds a PhD in Chemistry from RMIT University, a Master of Management from Melbourne Business School, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
