Dr Georgina Falster

Bio

Dr Falster studies past, present, and future weather and climate. Her current research aims to understand the nature and drivers of Australian droughts, including both natural variability and human-caused changes. To do this, she combines information from weather observations, long climate model simulations, and natural archives of information about climate variability through past centuries (‘palaeoclimate proxies’).
