Bio

After my MSc in high energy physics I joined the MPI, Hamburg Germany to do a PhD in climate modelling. After a postdoc at Scripps, La Jolla California and a Juniorprof at GEOMAR, Kiel, Germany I joined Monash University as a faculty member. My research focusses on climate dynamics of the large-scales with a particular focus on climate model development on all levels, and on climate modes, such as, ENSO.
