Bio
Andrew is employed at the University of Melbourne and specialises in extreme phenomena including bushfires, thunderstorms, tropical cyclones, east coast lows and their associated hazardous weather (such as severe wind, rain, flood and lightning), with research from sub-daily to long-term climate time scales. An aspect of this work is tailoring research outputs for practical applications used in society (e.g., for energy, emergency services and environment sectors).
