Dr Cindy Nguyen-Dang

Bio

Cindy completed her PhD at the University of Sydney with the Fluid Dynamics Research Group. She is now a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence for the Weather of the 21st Century, based at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, University of Tasmania. Her research is focused on heatwaves in a changing climate, with an emphasis on the mechanics and dynamics that drive heatwave characteristics. She is particularly interested in computational fluid dynamics and environmental fluid mechanics.
