Bio

Jatin's primary research interests are in land-atmosphere feed-backs and regional climate modeling. His is also interested in the development of land surface models used in regional and global climate models and has contributed towards improving the stomatal conductance scheme in CABLE, the land surface model used in ACCESS. Jatin is also interested in better understanding the drivers of temperature and precipitation extremes. He is involved in dynamical down-scaling of CMIP6 models for Australia, with a particular focus on Western Australia.
