Bio
I am a geospatial ecohydrologist using remote sensing, high-resolution modelling and machine learning to study vegetation health and function in response to climate change, land use, and disturbances. As an ARC DECRA Fellow, my research explores large-scale soil-vegetation-climate interactions, focusing on Australia’s ecosystems. My Ph.D. work involved using satellite measurements to model ecological processes and enhance environmental monitoring. I specialize in using next-generation geostationary satellites to track extreme dry events, vegetation dynamics, and flash droughts, aiming to improve our understanding of ecological resilience and ecosystem responses to climate variability.
